Privacy policy
Last updated 2026-10-06. Himalayan Botanic is a trading name. Details of the operating legal entity will be published here once incorporated.
What we collect
When you submit a sample request or request for quotation we collect the business details you provide: company, contact name, business email, country, the ingredient and requirement you describe, any file you attach, and your message. We also record the time of submission, a salted hash of your network address and your browser's user-agent string for abuse prevention.
Why we process it
To respond to your enquiry, prepare samples and quotations, and manage any subsequent commercial relationship. The legal basis is the steps taken at your request prior to a contract and our legitimate interest in operating a business-to-business supply service.
Where it is stored
Submissions are stored in a database and, where files are attached, in private object storage, both hosted on Cloudflare infrastructure. Enquiries may be forwarded to a monitored business mailbox. Data is not sold and is not used for advertising.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not set tracking cookies. Where web analytics is enabled, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies or client-side state and does not profile individual visitors. Spam protection may use Cloudflare Turnstile, which evaluates the request without storing identifying cookies for advertising.
Retention
Enquiries are retained for as long as needed to respond and for a reasonable period thereafter for business records. You may ask us to delete your enquiry at any time.
Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. Write to enquiries@himalayanbotanic.com to exercise them.
International transfers
Our infrastructure provider operates globally. Appropriate safeguards are relied upon for transfers outside your jurisdiction where required.
