A sourcing and quality-assurance platform, not a factory
Himalayan Botanic is being built to give international buyers a documented, specification-led route to botanical ingredients from the Indian Himalayas.
Asset-light by design
We do not own farms, plantations, distilleries or laboratories, and we do not describe ourselves as a manufacturer. We source from independent growers, grower groups, distillers and processors; place analysis with independent laboratories; and manage specification, batch selection, documentation and export.
This keeps the platform honest about what it controls. Our value is in qualification, testing, documentation and logistics, and in being transparent with buyers about where every lot comes from and what has been verified.
What the platform does
- Captures the buyer's specification and commercial requirement.
- Qualifies regional supply and selects candidate lots.
- Arranges independent testing and reviews results against specification.
- Issues batch documentation under a single identifier.
- Manages sampling, commercial procurement and export.
Where we are today
The company is at an early stage. The initial portfolio covers four steam-distilled essential oils, with commercial batches sourced against specification. We publish reference information from public standards and will list verified lots, documents and certificates only as they exist.
How we work
Specification first
Sourcing starts from the buyer's target profile, not from stock we want to move.
Independent verification
The party selling a lot should not be the party certifying it.
Lot-level honesty
No reference value is presented as a batch result; no claim is made without a document.
Origin as data
Provenance is recorded and declared, and treated as a technical attribute of the oil.
Legal entity
Himalayan Botanic is a trading name. Details of the operating legal entity will be published here once incorporated.
